Due to their wonderful composition, goji berries are an important source of energy, supplying a wide variety of nutrients and vital substances as well as high-quality protein. The basic fruit should even have a positive effect on our stress processing as a kind of adaptogen. In order to maintain all these fabulous properties in a particularly high concentration, our Gojis are grown by Keimling purely organic in the Quinghai area of China, where they can refuel fresh mountain air and extra sun at 1900 meters altitude. The goji berries are gently harvested and dried in the sun. This leaves the skin of these fine berries intact.
Goji berries can be enjoyed every day because of their tonifying, adaptogenic properties. A normal daily dose is about 15-45 grams (a handful). One gram usually corresponds to 4-6 dried berries.
Goji berries, like other dried fruits, can be enjoyed as a snack alone or added to smoothies, shakes, cereals, yoghurt, fruit salads, etc. Organic goji berries can be mixed with cocoa beans and / or many other superfoods, dried fruits, nuts and seeds to goji trail mix. Cocoa nibs and goji berries are a perfect match and, combined with their combined antioxidant power, they make a great snack for long air travel.
Also try a goji berry tea (1-2 tablespoons with 250ml of boiling water – let it rest for 5 minutes – drink and eat the goji berries). Drinking goji berry tea is an easy way to make goji berry polysaccharides available to the body as they pass from the berries to the hot water.
